Ulstein upper secondary school is situated on the west coast of Norway, close to the city of Ålesund, and close to the Geiranger fjord. We are located on an island with connection to the mainland by boat and undersea tunnel.

Our school has about 600 students, containing several lines of study, both in general education and vocational training. Our main programs are specialization in general subjects, sports and physical education, electricity and electronics, service and transport. This school year we have had a project with a class for refugees, to help them to learn Norwegian and how the society works in Norway. This project has been prolonged for next year.

The majority of our students are on the program general studies, where they prepare for studies at colleges or universities. The age group is 16-19 years old.
