This is what I have learnt about spring festivals of our partner countries:
People in Germany also have some spring festivals. One of them is Stuttgart spring festival. Today, this festival is the second largest beer festival in Germany, right after the Oktoberfest in Munich. Live bands play in the beer tents, there are many carnival rides to try out – not to mention the fair food and the specialities such as candied almonds. The ferris wheel is always a big attraction at this festival. That fastival is between the middle of April and the beginning of May.
They celebrate the carnival too. It’s almost smililar than in Slovenia. They eat donuts and candys. They dress in masks and then than walk in procession through the city. It’s just like in Slovenia. In Germany they don’t have Gregorjevo, but they also have Valentine’s day.
The Norvegians have one really good spring festival too. That festival is Spring Bachata Festival. That festival is in Oslo. There people dance salsa and Kimboza. People learn the basic of these popular latin dances from those that have created them.
